DIAMOND AND EMERALD SUITE

To create The Eye of Muzo diamond and emerald suite, a team of expert designers and adept artisans united their knowledge and talent in a laborious and exhaustive creative process. From the initial designs, presented in the form of gouache drawings, to the development of the three-dimensional models and the production of the pieces, experts worked closely so that the creative spirit of the original sketches could be transformed into an exceptional work of art.

THE EXTRAORDINARY

Inspired by a colored stone that has excited imaginations throughout time, Mouawad craftsmen carefully designed each item of this divine suite so as to bring out the vivid green hue of some of nature’s finest – Colombian emeralds from Muzo mines. With infinite attention to detail, each emerald was carefully nestled amongst round and pear-shaped diamonds, forming intricate flower motifs.

With the same dexterity, each stone was put through a rigorous cutting and polishing process in order to bring out its light performance and individual beauty. A special care was also given to the juxtaposition of technical and aesthetic factors to provide long-lasting comfort and flexibility to the wearer. This combination of precision, finesse, and refinement created a set of unique character and perfect finishes.
